G-7 Summit: Prime Minister Narendra Modi takes center stage during a photo shoot

Despite not being a member, Prime Minister Narendra Modi got centrestage during Photo opp of G-7 Summit, which was like show casing PM Modi importance among the leaders.
PM Modi successfully concluded his first foreign trip during his third term in office on Friday, as he left for home after attending the G7 Summit in Italy.
Few days after being sworn in as India's prime minister, Modi traveled abroad to attend the G7 summit, where he held talks with several world leaders, including British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and French President Emmanuel Macron.
The highlight of his diplomatic engagements in the European country, however, was his meeting with US President Joe Biden. Other leaders like King of Jordan Abdullah bin Al Hussein, Brasil President Lula, President of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, President of UAE Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan & others.
PM Modi wrote on X on Saturday morning saying, "Had a very productive day at the G7 Summit in Apulia. Interacted with world leaders and discussed various subjects. Together, we aim to create impactful solutions that benefit the global community and create a better world for future generations. I thank the people and government of Italy for their warm hospitality,".
"Had a very good meeting with PM Giorgia Meloni. Thanked her for inviting India to be a part of the G7 Summit and for the wonderful arrangements. We discussed ways to further cement India-Italy relations in areas like commerce, energy, defence, telecom and more. Our nations will work together in futuristic areas like biofuels, food processing and critical minerals."
Amid India's tension with Canada over the murder of Khalistani separatist Hardeep Singh Nijjar last year, PM Modi briefly met with Justin Trudeau.
