A roof at Delhi airport has collapsed after heavy rain, killing one person and injuring eight others. It's said that, four vehicles were damaged and eight people received minor injuries in the incident.
Videos online show huge pillars supporting the roof smashing into cars parked along the airport's Terminal 1. The incident took political turn as opposition INDI Alliance bloc leaders started accusing Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the roof collapse.
Opposition parties took this incedent to slam Union Govt led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the blame game went on in social media to the Aviation minister confirmed that this terminal was inaguarated in 2009, which was in Congress led UPA era.
Union Minister of Civil Aviation Ram Mohan Naidu Kinjarapu visited Delhi airport's Terminal-1, where a portion of canopy collapsed amid heavy rainfall today, killing one person and injuring several others.

Jairam Ramesh, Congress’s #FakeNews peddler, is LYING. The portion of T1 that collapsed was built and operationalised in 2009, when Congress led UPA was in power. https://t.co/OVx0Wb9m5e pic.twitter.com/1jNmRZ3bGY
