Ganja chocolate smuggling case: Eight raids, five arrested

Police have arrested five accused who were selling ganja chocolate in the name of Ayurvedic medicine.
Police raided eight places including Raichur Nagar, Yaramaras, Chikkasuguru, Industrial Area and arrested five accused including two King Fins in four places.
Bihar-based Sandeep Pandey and Raichur-based Wajid are the arrested King Fins, while Ratanesh and his son Kundankumar and Krishna Reddyan, who were distributing it, have been arrested.
1,410 ganja chocolates worth 7 kg have been seized from the two cases. Trading was done in grocery stores, hotels and pawn shops. Acting on certain information, the police raided and arrested the accused. Two separate cases have been registered in Sadar Bazar and Market Yard police stations.
